Love keeps us alive: some lessons from Gluta, a Thai stray dog and Marnie The Dog

Gluta

Today I would like to introduce you a happiest dog with the most beautiful smile, Gluta. She is a Thai stray dog! She got cervical cancer but with love and care of the owner luckily she is cured now as you can see in this pictures.
Really love Gluta's smile.

If you want to see how was she before the adoption, please watch this video.

Before I found her, I am a big fan of Marnie, another ex-abandoned dog. She is handicapped dog and with love of the new owner she becomes the loveliest dog I have ever seen.

Marnie

This is a biography of Marnie.

Marnie was found by Animal Control, smelly and matted on the streets of Connecticut in August 2012. She went unclaimed and was moved to a shelter where they named her Stinky.  After 4 months at the shelter she was adopted via a petfinder.com post. They said she was blind in her left eye, which looked gray & cloudy, and she would never see from that eye again. She also really did smell bad.

Love keeps us alive indeed!

The Long Game by DELVE DEEPER

Delve Deeper shows us the distorted view of success. He points out the biography of some famous people like Einstein, Da Vinci, etc that they all have something in common, a long stop period before being succeed. It was not the lost years at all but the time of learning and improvement. Worth sharing this discovery! After watching them, I realize that to master something needs a lot of patience and time. The most important is we must keep doing and developing our skill at a time.

And the part II of the Long Game.

Into the Wild with the BBC Earth

Lately I just got tired of human drama's life. So I entertain myself by watching the BBC Earth channel in the Youtube. They have many interesting and amazing short videos. For example, the promo trailer of the new documentary Tiny Giants in 3D or the best videos compilation of 2014.

As Michael Gunton, the director and writer of Tiny Giants, said that the life of small creatures like mouses or chipmunks will change the way we look at them: they are small but must live in the very tough life and they are doing it!

And here I post some more video clips that may surprise you.

New Year (again) 2015

“This year we’re going for quality over quantity,
which is my most favorite way to say I am fucking lazy.”

CHRISSY TEIGEN

Ms. Teigen makes me giggle with her statement. Last year I was "fucking lazy" about my personal life and was "fucking busy" about my PhD dissertation. This is the reason why I've disappeared almost 10 months.

As the new year is coming again, the typical thing that many people do is to set up new year's resolutions. So do I!!!

Healthy poop sinks slowly!

As today is the Christmas eve, it means we are going to eat a lot. If we have an input, in three days our output will show up. I have just found this funny and useful infographic about our poop in Science Dump. Yes, it can tell how is your inner body. The more important is I learn a lot about shade and shape of Mr. Poopy.

Happy Holidays!

มุสลิมในสเปน - When the Moors Ruled Europe.

Today I would like to share a documentary about the Muslims in the history of Spain. This part of the history is very interesting because many knowledges of Greek were translated by the Muslims and then into Latin. You will get surprised after watching it. Believe me.

History has been used for many political and economic interests so many times. And this is one of good examples.

Hope you will enjoy the video!
