| Wonderful book for translation students by Jeremy Munday. |
Lately I have to read many boring academic texts for my studies. I have found that some authors are very loving and adorable like this translation theorist, Jeremy Munday. On the dedication page of his famous book, Introducing Translation Studies: Theories and applications, he wrote:
que me ha hecho feliz.
[For Cristina for making me happy. (my translation)]
What a lovely dedication! Simple but meaningful. If I were Cristina, I would be so happy.
